Woodblock Printing Type

Street Art font design / Display Font

It is a set of rather wild and graffiti-like form, the intention is to challenge traditional typesetting. The font is characterised by uneven widths and exaggerated strokes, discouraging proper letter spacing. The user is forced to make types fit nicely with the woodblock, resulting in endless possibilities between characters combinations.

The printing block has captured the essence of lively street art types, put into a traditional alphabet printing system, and create a half-fixed half-freestyle typeset printing process.
