Gorilla Film Magazine
Logotype / Signage / Art Direction / Layout / Website
Gorilla Film Magazine is a bi-monthly publication about independent filmmaking. The term originates from 'Guerrilla filmmaking' which refers to low budget, underground, fast-action without permission, to make films. The magazine contains articles, reviews, interviews, essays, education, and humour stories.
The visual identity consists of a signage system of icons that helps navigate through the book. Each pictogram represents a section, almost like a language of its own used by the tribe of Gorilla.
